The Blurb

Marty Beard is a technology leader, husband and father. He grew up in the Bay Area and attended the University of California, Berkeley.  At Cal, he studied rhetoric and history, thus beginning a lifelong passion for literature, particularly philosophy.  After graduating from Cal, Marty began a career in management consulting, then attended graduate school at Georgetown University.  He has worked many years as an executive in the software and mobile industries, and is currently Co-founder & CEO of alwaysAI, Inc. — a deep learning computer vision software company.  Married with two children, he is an inveterate reader and writes essays and poetry in his spare moments.
